441534-001 HP Pavilion dv6000 dv6200 dv9000 HDMI AMD Notebook Motherboard

Earlier today I completed a laptop motherboard replacement on a friends HP dv9400us PC notebook. After getting the unit in my hands, I noticed his machine was one of the newer models of the pavilion dv9000 series which now includes a HDMI port and comes as a full featured main board.

Compaq and HP shows the following information on part number 441534-001 - "System board (motherboard) - Discrete graphics full-featured (FF) - With High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) support". *This notebook system board supports AMD CPU’s only and is updated with a built in HDMI port for the newer flat panel LCD’s available.

Laptop motherboard part #: 441534-001 is also fully compatible with the - HP Pavilion dv6000, dv6200 and HP Pavilion dv9000, dv9100, dv9200, dv9300 and dv9400 series model laptop computers.

As long as you’re computer originally came with an AMD processor and HDMI connection, 441534-001 will also fit and work in the HP Compaq dv6000us, dv6200us, dv9000us, dv9100us, dv9200us, dv9300us and dv9400us notebooks.

  4. At least on my DV6250SE I had do move the power connector in order for this to fit on the case. I also had to get a cooler for the video chip wich was not easy to find. Even after that it only worked for about six months. Could just have been a bad board though since most of them seem to be.

  5. Is it possible to repace a laptop with a 444002-001 mother board with a 44153400 motherboard? will the wireless card work on it from the 444002 ?

  6. I have a HP DV9205US (I think) I bought it on E-Bay with a bad motherboard. I have bought 4 of the newer boards that come with HDMI and all 4 have overheated within 20 minutes of installing the operating system. I have replaced everythin connected to the motherboard excludeing the LCD. Can I not put a 4441534-001 motherboard in a DV9205US without HDMI? I don’t understand why I can’t upgrade.
